The NRT’s First Annual Meeting will be held May 2-4th, 2016

The first NRT meeting will bring NRT teams together for the first time to share ideas, develop strategies for long-term success, hear from experts in STEM training, and participate in a national-level discussion on the future of STEM training. The first two days of the event will be a discussion-intensive workshop focusing on sharing ideas and innovative practices to improve NRT programs and the preparation of NRT trainees. The workshop brings together students, faculty, and program coordinators involved in the NSF Research Traineeship program, and features invited experts in graduate training and STEM fields. The workshop will start a discussion about innovation in graduate training that will carry into the ‘outward-facing’ third day of Future STEM Leaders in Washington, D.C. on May 4th.
